From Brief to Launch: How We Run a 12-Week Project

No mystery, no black box. A week-by-week look at how a typical Vectora website project moves from first call to launch day.

Red light streaks curving through darkness

Clients sometimes tell us their last agency felt like a black box: a kickoff, a long silence, then a reveal. We run projects the opposite way, with something new to look at every week.

Weeks 1–2: Discover

Stakeholder interviews, analytics review, competitor audit and a short workshop to agree what success looks like. The output is a one-page brief everyone signs off.

Weeks 3–6: Design

We start with structure and content, then move into visual design on the most important templates. Weekly reviews keep feedback small and direction changes cheap.

Weeks 7–11: Build

Development starts while the final templates are still being designed. Clients get a staging link from the first week of build and see the real site take shape, not just mockups.

Week 12: Launch and learn

Final QA, performance and accessibility checks, redirects and analytics, then launch. A month later we review real data together and agree what to improve next.
